If this winter is feeling exceptionally long and cold, take heart in these photos from T&TH reader Josh Shiver. The self-described “turkey addict” had this to say:
“I recently started hunting a piece of property in southern Illinois. I captured these images on my game camera and thought they were unusual. I have never seen strutters in the winter. I’ve heard them gobble often in the winter, but never strut.”
Seems the turkeys can’t wait for spring, either.
