Turkey Tip #13: Double Up
Try calling with a buddy this spring.
Float-calling: The caller sets up behind the shooter but moves as he calls. That way, the caller can walk away or slip right or left, pulling the bird on course to the gunner.
Start a fight: One hunter can purr aggressively and slap his hat against a tree to mimic flapping wings, and the other might yelp and cutt excitedly.
Mimic a flock: One hunter can yelp and cutt on a box as the other clucks and purrs on a slate.
