Rogue Ammunition Company was formed in 2022 with its own proprietary loads in every shotgun gauge on the market. After watching their products gain traction in the marketplace, Rogue and JEBS knew they should collaborate and build a turkey load that was not only unique, but also carried some real punch when it came to downrange penetration and performance.
So they developed a load that stacked two different shot sizes,#9s on top of #8s, which gave customers more penetration without affecting pellet count on target at 40 yards. In other words, they take the total weight in grains and divide it in half, half being #9s and half #8s, and load them in the shell individually, one on top of the other, instead of mixing them together or blending them. They also determined through testing that the lightest of the two shots should be loaded first because it dramatically changed the number of flyers on each target outside of the main pattern. In other words, it stopped pellet deflection between the two sizes because the lighter #9s would fall away sooner than the heavier #8s, which then carried much farther downrange. “If you’re looking for extreme performance that hits like a sledgehammer, try the JEBS stacked load.”
