Brian Lovett was recently named editor of Turkey & Turkey Hunting, marking
his second stint with the magazine.

Lovett replaces Jim Schlender, who accepted the position of publisher and editorial director for F+W Media's Firearms/Knives Division.

Lovett was editor of T&TH from August 1995 through 2001. He has also served
as editor for Wisconsin Outdoor Journal, Bass Pro Shops' Outdoor World and
Gun List/Gun Digest the Magazine.

Lovett has written or edited five turkey hunting books, and has served as a
columnist and contributing editor for T&TH since 2005.

He's hunted turkeys in 16 states and Mexico, and has taken several grand slams and a royal slam.
