Remi 870 For the First Time

Postby lxtagle » April 19th, 2012, 6:51 pm

Folks, I am avid a& passinate bowhunter. I, for the first time, will put my bow down and use a shotgun for turkey. I am excited. I am sighted in (great group up to 40 yrds). Saturday will be the test of my rookie shotgun hunt.

I feel like a beginner
Fun, Friends, Family! p.s. If you want to kill something, don't hunt - if you want to hunt, welcome to my world.

The thrill of the hunt. I hope none of us ever lose it. Best of luck to you today.

Thanks,
Clark

i too am an avid bow hunter. no better feeling than that of a close range shot with an arrow. my first bird was taken with an 870 3" while my pals had 3.5" turkey guns. my base model 870 piled up a nice tom and still does to this day . best of luck with your first venture out! :D
