My best bow bird had an 11 1/4" beard and 1 1/8" spurs taken on a fall hunt, same set up as deer. I shot him broadside with fixed broadhead, had to finish him with second shot pinning him to the ground. This year on opening day of deer season I shot a hen with a Shuttle T Loc broadhead @ 21 yards, severing her head and running down her back 9 inches, almost like I was field dressing her from the top side. Both birds were shot without the use of a blind, and both birds were quickly recovered. I have missed a few more times with a bow than I care to share, so be prepared mentally....this will be a great challenge to undertake. Your deer set up will work just fine, the only thing I would add is something called a turkey stopper....it screws on to your arrow shaft behind the broadhead....it has 4 prongs, and is designed to slow down the arrow upon penetration, transfering kinetic energy from the arrow to the bird upon impact. Those other broadheads are devastating as well, I have seen footage that completely decapitates the head from the turkey-UNBELIEVABLE!! They just seem awkward to transport safely, having 3 four inch blades sticking out....but they work!
