As some have said, there is a time when you'll call all the time and others where you're quiet for a period. Last year I bagged two birds, two different seasons and two completely different situations. The first season all they liked were clucks and I was able to bag a satellite tom that wandered in. There I was quiet with only a few sporadic times of clucking. The second season was during the fifth week and I had to keeping making noise. Hunting next to a highway it was the only way he could hear me. I maybe went 3to minutes in between calls. Years of hunting and you'll learn what they like.
