suggestion, if you've never used a tube call, you may want to buy an inexpensive one to see how you like it, i believe knight and hale sell a couple of models, they are not the easiest to play, harder than a trumpet imo, just my 2 cents.....i bought a terry madewell tube a few years back, nice call, just kinda pricey if you can't get it to work.....

I know blacky makes a few.
I've looked at making some, BUT first I need to learn enough about them to play one good enough . If you can't play one it's hard to build them because you wouldn't know if it was a good one or not?

Well I've never used one but I've never met a call I can't play with a little practice.. I like the advice about buying a mass produced call first but I didn't think a quality custom made one would be much more in cost and I did'nt think the cost would be high enough not to buy one to try.

Yea post a pic of them! I also didn't think there was that many variations to a tube call but I guess after I think about it I reckon they are just like a mouth call and they all sound different. I dont have the money right now seeing as I dont even have my tags and liscense yet lol but I know I'll be wanting one before too long..
