Postby Pressured Gobblers » December 25th, 2008, 3:13 pm

I bought a call from him at the Harrisburg show quite a few years ago... Anyhow I haven't heard or seen anything from this guy in awhile

He's from Lima Ohio.

Or is it "He was from Lima Ohio" ???

I thought that I heard a few years back that, that might of been the case...

I have one of his calls that I bought a few years back at the harrisburg show in Pa... I think the call is called sweet lips... Anyhow the call is a slate call and does have a sweet sound... I don't use the call anymore just because I had the funny feeling that he may of passed ans that the call may be worth something one day...

Anyhow thanks for responding...

I "Think" Ted is still with us....he just quit making calls.
It's too bad...I've got a Box, Slate and 2 trumpets....they are all GOOD hunters.

What I remember hearing, which could be wrong because I'm going from memory of something I was told by someone else at least 5+years ago, was that Mr. Peters got ill a long ways back and then got a differant job and has not made calls since. Hopefully Mr. Peter's is doing well no matter the reason why he stopped making calls. Mike Pentecost of Woodhaven claims to have made strikers for Mr. Peters. I have no way of confirming that though.
