Awesome Ron, you can really make that trumpet sing.
I've been playing with a wing bone the last couple years and it's takes a lot of trial and error to find the correct embouchure (position of the instrument on the mouth.) Also, as with any wind instrument, air control is critical as well.
I used to play the coronet and currently play harmonica professionally, so I know a thing or two about embouchure and air control. And combined with my turkey hunting knowledge and calling experience you would think I would be a natural.......nope. Just a rookie suction caller like everyone else. I glad you mentioned that it does indeed take A LOT of practice, because there are no shortcuts.
