Good looking Gob, Zipper'.

I'm over near Neave.  What part of Bracken were you hunting?  My birds were not nearly as cooperative this year.  I had a frustrating first week, but did manage to bag one and then missed another one the last weekend.

I did manage to bag a coyote and 2 poachers, though.

Hey Russ,

That's an amazing bird...beautiful! I grew up in Kentucky and we had no turkeys. The land that our family owned in Hardin County now has a great turkey population.

I hunt in Hardin and Larue Counties now.

Best of luck in the rest of your seasons.

Had  the  best  season  yet.  Bagged  two  gobblers  that  must  have  been  off  the  same  hatch.  I  killed  them  in  the  same  area.
The  first  one  was  24  pounds  1  3/8 "  spurs  11"  beard
The  second  was  22  pounds  1  3/8 "  spurs  10  1/2"  beard.
Saw  a  lot  jakes  and  hens.  It's  looking  good  for  next  year.
