turkey junky.... I want to trade jobs with you. I wish I could spend 2 straight months hunting gobblers in different places like that. I will be hunting mostly in KY. There is a small chance that I will be able to hunt in TN. That all depends if some of my hunting buddies come down.

Well, turkey junky, it sounds like you're lined up to have a good season! I, like kygobbler, will be doing my hunting in KY, and there's a very very small chance that I will hunt TN. Season here opens up on April 14th and I'm as pumped as I've ever been. I have yet to do much scouting but I will probably do a little something every weekend from here until season opens. I'll be busy getting blinds set up, scouting/listening, and making tons of pot calls. I'm getting excited and I think our team has a good shot at tagging quite a few birds this year!!

i guess being basically my dads home care nurse has it benefits a??? my father & hunting partner has some medical issues from past surgery's he has had to fight throat cancer & he also has heart issues so i need to keep a eye on the guy & keep his health at tip top levels... lol a benefit is my dads retired & it doesn't take much to talk him into going out of state to hunt turkey... its kind of our thing... 36 days + is a bit much i agree... but i am a turkey junky & i just cant get enuff...
