Well my group got to start hunting on May 21. We heard just a little gobbling in the mornings but otherwise the birds weren't that vocal. But on the evening of the 22nd my brother in law got a two year old bird at 12 paces (7" beard and 3/4' spurs, we didnt have a scale to get a wieght) for his first bird ever. Then after a close call on the morning on the 23rd Dad and I doubled ona pair of jakes for our first birds ever. Although our fourth party member didnt tag out everyone had a great time turkey hunting for the first time. Not bad for a bunch of Noobs.
