Snack before bedtime

Got this shot at the farm today with my new telephoto outfit I got for Christmas. Seems the boys are getting a late evening snack( a little after 5:30 P.M.) before fly-up. Hope they are still around come March 17!

I sure hope so. The way the farm is laid out the birds will be on the property one day and back into the adjacent property the next. My friend who runs the farm is planting new pasture mix in selected areas this spring as a supplement until the red stem comes in strong, so I hope that will act as an attractant to keep them on the place because it will be heavy in clover content. Won't know until then,this is only the second season I have been allowed to hunt there.

Nice....now are the pure Osceloas in your area?

The farm is about 60 miles south of the "break line",but I would say that they are not pure strain Osceolas, those would be much farther south.
