Two days 2 birds...this one a little tougher though another special hunt..With a great friend ..Pics coming .. Gunpowder and lead!!!
Harlan county Ky..represents..20lb 10"beard 1"1/8 spurs..I think the big man lost afew pounds on this one..Half or better of his beard had been cut off..any ideas maybe a fence.. Also got to hear him fighting with a jake..Guess who won? Set up near to many fence rows to start with got aglimpse of the birds struting but couldn't get aclean shot..1 hour later and 1/2 mile walk and it was checkmate! Came straight down and old logging road after a little slate "love"..

A "BIG THANKS" is in order for one of the GREATEST friends i've had GOBBLERNUT. This old bird took us on a journey. I believe I wore out the diaphragm, but he couldn't resist the sweet clucks from my buddy's slate (Came in Running.) There is nothing like a successful & memorable hunt with great friend.
