got my second turkey yesterday afternoon. Went to a field edge where I had seen 2 toms strtting at each other the prvious pm. Got into the woods at 4.45pm. Was leaving with bird at 5.05pm! As soon as I sat down heard a goble approx. 100yrds away . Called some on my glass call and got immediate responce. Kept calling and got more responce. Holy, sounds like 2 toms! Called and they were a comming, gobleing the whole way in. When The first one became visible he was approx. 30 yrds. away. When I called again got a big surprise...4 toms answered, all close but not all visible due to cover. Called a little more and worked 2 into 20 yrds. Took the one that gave me the clearest shot. 16 lbs/9.5 " beard/ 1"spurs. All this in 20 minutes. Turkey coming in always gets my heart a hammerin but to have 4 in tight and all gobling back at you was unbelievable! Might never happen to me again but sure was special. Well I'm tagged out for the yr. so I might be able to keep up to the grass cutting and try to do a little fishing. Good luck to all.
