Drugged turkeys?

Postby charlie elk » February 5th, 2012, 7:01 pm

In the March '12 article Wariness of the Wild Turkey, Lovett Williams wrote about drugging turkeys in order to catch them. Did drugging work long term? Is it easier to catch them using drugs than with cannon nets?

i may be wrong, but i believe that this practice is still being used, as it alot less stressful on the captured birds.....now, you and i both know, there are a few birds that we've run across that we wished were on something, so their reaction time would have been diminished..... :D
