I always use a single hen usually facing away from where I expect him to come, that way it looks like she not interested.  They usually come at a running strut right to it or almost to it, if everything goes well he fall just short.

OHhunter..that sounds really good but with my luck he'll always come the way I think he won't..I say put it out there and if he's hot he's going to come ..After all if he's close to the decoy it should be checkmate for him....

I did say usually, I've had several that circled round and came in from the oppisite direction that didn't have a chance to see the decoy and there's always that one bird that will come in directly behind you, no matter how you set up. 
 
The more I think about it maybe I should have said "sometimes they come running" instead of "usually" in my original post, I can remember several birds that haven't done what I thought they should.

OHhunter my bad you did say usually.. But I was punching fun at myself really because regardless of how I set it it always back fires.. but that's hunting LOL...
