Congrats on your first Turkey!  My brother also shoots the 835 with a kicks choke and it pulverizes them.  I shoot the 935 (auto version) with a comp-n-choke and I vaporize them as well.  I am anxiously awaiting opening day here in MA (28 APRIL) then Its home to NY for opening day on MAY 1st.  I hope you made out this morning!  Best of luck to you in all of your future hunts!
