I hunt Ala and Tenn and we have all day hunting. The birds do not get a lot of pressure in the afternoons and I have had good luck with late birds. Ala WMA's do not have all day hunting. They close at noon. I've spent some long afternoons in camp on those hunts.

Here in Colorado turkey is sunrise to sunset. Big game hours are 1/2 hr after sunrise to 1/2 hr before sunset.

We can hunt all day here in N.C.. I haven't done as well in the afternoons as mornings, but a buddy of mine slays 'em in late afternoon. Go figure.

I usually don't hunt beyond 1:PM most days, as I always have work to do.

We can hunt all day here in Kentucky and i love it. I have killed several birds around 1 o'clock and a couple late in the evening. Something else is that the hunting pressure slacks off and you can get on some of those birds that were henned up and had hunters with them.
