Congrat's that's a Dandy bird, the more I hunt them, the less I think I know..........

Love those Rio's - do they talk as much in KS as they do in TX?

Have to say, they seem to talk more than the easterns I have always hunted. It is very hard to find good places here on private land but I finally did and it is not pressured at all.
I am not seeing hardly anyone turkey hunting out here. I have seen only one truck parked that looked like he was maybe hunting. Have you noticed anything like that down your way? Also I hear there are a ton of turkeys in Texas...would it be worth my time to drive down?

I've only been hunting for Rio's in TX once, live and hunt in PA; I don't believe there is much public land available, if any in TX. Do your homework before you go.  Good luck.
