[color=blue]Well I had 19 pellets in the head and neck of that gobbler and he was dead before his beak was in the dirt. If I had used a HTL load, such as TSS for example; there almost certainly would be more pellets in the bird. However the gobbler would not be any deader. The money I saved by using Pb over an HTL load I used for gas and other essentials. To each his own.

Yep. Some folks just don't want a better performing shell, a better performing choke, a better performing gun, better poa/poi coordination, a better sounding call, better looking camo, a better place to hunt, etc. Some folks like to intentionally handicap themselves to make the hunt more challenging. Some folks buy fancy expensive calls, drive gas guzzling trucks, ride around on ATVs, pay lots of money to trick out an expensive gun, buy expensive chokes, wear the latest vest and camo, buy expensive boots -- and then skimp at the moment of truth after all the hard work and expense to get to that point -- in order to save a buck or two. But it's all good, and to each his own.
