The general page for the annual turkey hunting contest. Tons of fun even if you're not on a team.

Kentucky- Eastern
Very experienced
2 birds should bite the dust.
There's more fun in hunting with the handicap of the bow than there is in hunting with the sureness of the gun.

Hey Mr. Gobbler,

First off, thanks for agreeing to be the moderator/coordinator for all of this. I know the guy on the hunting.net that heads up the contest (actually there are a few of them) and its fun, but a lot of work.

Anyways, here is my info, please let me know which team I am on!

1. Hoot-n-scoot
2. I live in WI but I will be travelling all over the country (again) this year, good lord willing. TX, NC, SD, WY, NE, WI
3. I consider myself forever with 'some experience'
4. I hope to tag 4+ birds., combo of Eastern, Merriam, Rio-Grande, and I will certainly be hunting in 'hybrid territory' as well!

Im in! Cant waitfor the season.
1) Mossberg835
2) Easterns
3) SOME experience (just finally got a place to hunt that actually has turkeys in the spring)
4) 1-2

I think newyorkers in the contest should get a handicap, like in golf because our turkeys are smarter than everybody elses (that should get some people riled up and then i will have done my job successfully) :D
