Guns, ammo, and more! What do you shoot, and why?

It's getting close!

The fall shotgun turkey season in Illinois is getting close. It's only 9 days away now. We've been seeing lots of turkeys and both Doris and I have our guns and gear ready. We can hardly wait.

Thanks,
Clark

Hey Jon,

Good luck to you this fall. It's less than a week now, so we're really excited. It's supposed to really cool down here, get into the 30s maybe, so we'll have to pull out some warmer gear but that's just fine. The countdown continues.

Thanks,
Clark

I have a lot of catching up to do since I've not reported, apparently on our fall season. It was a good one. I ended up with 2 birds and the privilege of helping a young many get his first one. Doris had a good season with a nice hen.

We enjoyed hunting together again and hope that the future holds more of those hunts for us.

I hope everyone had a great fall season. Now we just have to wait for spring.

Thanks,
Clark
