Buying Pre-Season Calls

Postby Ben Sobieck » January 12th, 2009, 11:38 am

Here are the results of a recent home page poll. Did you think the number of people buying calls would be higher or lower?

I wouldn't say I'm surprised at those results.  When you take into account all of the factors that would influence call buying....demographics, dedication to the sport, experience, etc....I think the poll results are within expectations.

I would say that looks about what I figured, though this spring might bring some back to the 2 or 3 column, finances being what they are.

I'm already in the blue. I'll be in the red (in more ways than one) before the season opens.

Looks about right, most turkey hunters have purchased every thing under the sun.... so that only leaves the one or two "new" calls that come out each year to purchase.

i think that if i saw that call in the store and it was reasonably priced i might buy it to just pick it up to play with it and experiment with it. i like to collect diferent types of calls whuich i dont have many but i have a bunch of mouth calls, a few box calls, couple slat calls, and a couple of locators also. i just like playing around with them like i said although i have yet to use them all on a hunt
