bye, bye irene.....came out ok, more wind than i thought we'd get, not too bad, didn't lose power, got more, needed rain, so not too shabby, [ i'm sure that there are plenty of folks that don't feel the same ] still getting aftershocks from the quake last week, very strange.....

We got a little rain and never lost power either. Wish I could say the same for some of the folks down east & in the northeast. Irene wasn't as bad as many hurricanes that have come through here. Hurricane season is a long ways from over and there's already another one brewing in the Atlantic.

We got 5 to 6 inches of rain and lots of wind. Made out ok didn't lose any power. Lots of trees down.

Glad you guys came through safely. After having come through several of them here in Florida I can really sympathize with any and all who were affected on any level. No matter what, they are scary beasts. We who were missed pray for those who were not.
