New Member from Connecticut

Hello all, new member from Connecticut here.  Just finished my 3rd season in Ct., and 5th in New York.  Generally I'm hunting in Northwest Ct. and in various areas in NY north of the Albany region.  The turkeys in both states gave me a real education this year, and my turkey-hunting buddies tell me I've caught the bug!  This year's highlight was calling in a friend's first bird, on his own land after a 3 year drought.
I'm glad to be here, and looking forward to learning from you all.

Thanks Wayne and Jon, I'm looking forward to being a part of the group discussion.  Doug:  no problem, a friend of mine owned a farm in Canajoharie for many years and through him we get onto local properties.  I noticed one of your earlier posts regarding weather in your neck of the woods.  How did that impact your hunting season?

I think it impacted us the same as all the eastern US. Hopefully now it will dry up some for the new chicks.

Hey Michael welcome to the T&TH forum you should find a LOT of nice folks here that love discussing all aspects of turkey hunting. Plus if you have any questions there are some very experienced turkey hunters here that are very helpful.

Thanks everyone for the greeting, looking forward to participating in our favorite obsession (talking Turkey out of season).  Dewey, thanks for the tip on resizing, as you can see it worked...now if you could just point me in the direction of that big gobbler[:D]!!!
