I suppose you could, but on my first Mossberg I bought aftermarket fiber optic sights to replace the bead. In turkey hunting you end up taking shots from all kinds of odd positions and it's easy to neglect to put your head in the perfect position. The FO sights give you a reminder to get the gun lined up correctly. IMO they are the best solution to turkey hunting sights; light, inexpensive and more than accurate enough for the requirements of turkey hunting.
Here's my Benelli Vinci with realtree APG camo matched with a butler creek gun sling. I shoot a Tru-Glo SSX choke with Hevi Shot 3" 2oz. #6. This gun is extremely light in the field and does anything you ask it to do, all with very little recoil. It's a monster on clay targets as well. I love this gun!!!
