Anyone tried hevi13 choke tubes

I was thinkin about buying a hevi13 turkeychoke tube just wonderin if anybody has tried one or knows anything about them

Hey Stephen,

Yes, I've shot all of the different models now. All of them with 3" Hevi-13 "Bronze" shells with 2 oz. of #6 shot and many with the same shell with 2 oz. of #7 shot. I liked what I saw with all of them but a couple different models were really outstanding.

It's a good design, well made and reasonably priced.

I plan to try to get the rest of them shot with the #7 load as soon as possible but that may take a while since turkey season comes in tomorrow here.

I purchased one about 2 months ago and the results were very good through a SBEII using 3 inch Mag blend and 3.5 inch Mag blend.

I have a SBE II and was using a Pure Gold tube and shooting Hevi-shot #5.
 
Even though I kiled a couple of birds last year I was not really happy with the pattern.  Very spotty.
 
I like Hevi shot so when I saw that Hevi shot made a tube specifically fro their load, I had to try it.
 
The patterns I got were the best I've seen yet.  Even though I am very satisfied with the hs tube and hs#5, I am going to try the magnum blend as well just out of curiosity.

See the thread I started for a photo of the pattern I got with a Hevi Shot Choke and a Hevi 13 number 7. 278 pellets inside 10 inches at 40 yards. So yeah, I'll sing theirs praises.

They are really awesome choke tubes especially with Hevi 13 or Magnum Blend shells...

Regardless of internet results, if I am going to pay 65 bucks for a choke tube, I am going to purchase from a choke manufacturer that is willing to work with me in swapping out constrictions or offering a money back guarantee such as SumToy, Indian Creek, Tru Lock or Pure Gold..
