Welcome Dave. I 've beenhunting turkeys about as long as you, still waiting for number one. With only being on this forum a few months I've learned a lot the guys on here are great and want to thank all who helped me so far.

I'm from SC and love to turkey hunt.
I also love to talk about shotguns, chokes, ammo and patterning.

welcome to the forum Bruce, i see your from SC and your season is over...how did it go? Also if your were looking for a place to shoot the bull about anything that has to do with turkey or turkey hunting, then you found the place!
There's more fun in hunting with the handicap of the bow than there is in hunting with the sureness of the gun.

Thanks for the welcome.
Something happenned to my sign on and I couldn't get back on last week so I just re-registered with a new sign on and e-mail.
Anyway, our season went very well this year, especially the first two weeks.
My buddy bought a very expensive movie camera and filmed everything. He's got 4 farms and turkey hunting is his passion. Hel loves to see little kids kill their first turkey so he got 4 little kids their first one this year and got it all on film I've killed turkeys before but always to his calling. This year I called two in for myself for the first time and it was truly an incredible feeling.
I look forward to reading this board and contributing what I can.
