Right with you guys, Went out last sat. with my brother in law and nephew for youth hunt. After rain stopped we got one to answer but as we tried to move ahead of him we got busted by 12 deer we waited and called but nothing. Good luck guys

Everyday of turkey season, is very exciting. I've always said, I hope I never lose the excitement of turkey hunting. I've been turkey hunting 38 years, and I still get very excited.
Best of luck everyone,

Can't wait for Saturday for sure.  Great time of the year to be in the woods.  Everyone is tired of winter and looking forward to that first gobble of the day.  Good Luck to all and be safe.  Identify your target before you pull the trigger.

I can hardly wait. I thought I'd take the edge off by hunting a few times in Ohio during the two weeks before our PA season opens, but I got over there only once, and didn't really have a great place to hunt. All that did was get me more excited. One of the big deals for me this season is I'll be field testing my own call. Plus, I have a few new places to hunt.

Can't wait till Saturday!!! Got to go out this past Saturday with my son and my best friend and his son. My best friends bot got his first bird, a jake, This was my sons first trip into the woods. He is 7 and has been asking about going out hunting for over a year now. Because the weather was crappy I figured he would have totaly lost interest. But! To my surprise he had a great time. Got to call a tom almost into shotgun range until a couple hens lead him away. But, a great day indeed!
If it gobbles, runs on gas, or is married to you it will give you trouble!

I would like to go next week, but the weather sounds bad. Hate to spend the money to watch it rain when I can do that at home. I'm from Ohio and if I go could use a little does and don'ts of the laws on public land. May take my pop up camper, so a cheap camp grounds would help. Would like to hunt in the south west part to save gas. Gary

you guys get to start one day ahead of us turkeyholics in ny, so good luck. And use that one day advantage wisely, cause a lot of use here in ny gots birds, and lots of um. Best of luck Penn. hunters.
