New Gun!

Postby Mossberg835 » April 18th, 2011, 6:59 am

I finally got my own gun! I always used to use either my dads 835(Best turkey gun ever)[:D] or our Mossberg 500, but my uncle was doing some welding at a friends gun shop and he saw what he thought was an 835 and got it for only 250$ and thought of me so he told my dad and my dad bought it from him and we went over to my uncles house to get it and he said he had just realized that it was a 535. We took it anyways because it can shoot 3 1/2 inch shells just like the 835 and it has the sweetest camo on it, Mossyoak Breakup. We gotta pattern it in soon. My brother will probably use it for the youth season since it is lighter than the 835, and its a long walk to our spot. Cant wait to kill a turkey with this gun![:D][:D][:D][:D]

Congrats on a good buy -- whether it's a 535 or an 835. Every gobbler I've shot at with an 835 was stone dead.

Hey moss Let me first say congrats on the new gun!!!!!! And second the 535 is a great handling gun many turkeys have died by the mossberg 535 12 ga and the 500 and the 835 just remember you dont always have to have 3.5 mags to kill ole thunder chickens. Lots of them were flopped using 2.75in -3.0in shells just a thought ...Congrats
