Honoring the Fallen

Our little community is saddened by the loss of a local soldier in Afghanistan. A friend of our family lost their son Tuesday in Afghanistan. He was killed by an IED and leaves a wife and two young children. May God keep his family and rest his soul. All our respect to Army Staff Sgt. Josh Gire and his family.

When we go turkey hunting this spring, remember we do so because so many died for our freedom and right to keep arms.

Sorry to hear something as tragic as that, eggshell. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. Something like that makes you take a step back and really realize what's important in life!
