sorry fellas.....i just got back from mississippi. no bird, no gobblin'....i did manage to call in 16 different jakes on 3 different hunts, but no longbeards. my plan was to hunt in alabama on the way back through but after several phobe calls, nothing was gobblin there either so i elected to come home. i will be back over there when the birds start acting RIGHT.

Hate to hear that for you Roger. They didn't have much to say at the lease last weekend either. I wonder if it had anything to do with the full moon...you know, they could have been out late chasing after the hens, felt bad in the morning, and decided to stay on the limb & avoid loud noises.
Better luck once they start warming up some.
