I hunt some in NY and up there you can hunt 7 days a week.....Spring gobbler is 12 noon....but Fall season is all day....LOVE THE 7 DAYS

i would love hunting on sunday.. i know FIVE people that would buy a license again if sundays were open

Me neither. Its a ridiculous attempt to sway public and then legislative opinion. A landowner informing a hunter asking for permission to hunt his property to stay off on Sundays is no different than asking the hunter not to park in a certain field, or approach the farm from a certain direction during early morning hours, or to stay out of certain fields because of the cows, etc.

If they don't want the intrusion on Sundays, then make it a condition prior to granting permission. I hunted private ground where opening week was off limits. That condition is no different than a landowner informing me that Sundays are off limits.
