Animal Right Activist on FBI Most Wanted List

The FBI for the first time has placed an animal rights activist on the bureau's "Most Wanted Terrorists" list.

The FBI announced Tuesday the addition of Daniel Andreas San Diego to the list, hoping a burst of international publicity associated with the move will help investigators find him after six years on the run.

San Diego, 31, may appear to be out of place on a terrorist list with familiar names like al Qaeda's Osama bin Laden, Ayman al-Zawahiri and Adam Yahiye Gadahn. The "strict vegan," according to the FBI, is charged with bombing two corporate offices in California in 2003. The blasts caused extensive property damage but no deaths.

Vegans eat no meat or any other food containing animal products.

Authorities allege San Diego bombed facilities in Emeryville and Pleasanton, California, because he believed the Chiron and Shaklee Corporations had ties to animal-testing labs.

The sophisticated homemade bombs had ammonium nitrate brand explosives and relied on "kitchen timer style mechanical timer devices," according to an FBI affidavit.

Just goes to show you how dangerous these people can be! Funny. I can't seem to remember ever hearing about hunters doing this kind of thing! Kind of puts things in perspective of what kind of people hunters are compared to the activists.
If it gobbles, runs on gas, or is married to you it will give you trouble!

I mentioned this once on a thread on our sister forum DDH, these people are dangerous! They will go to no ends to reach their agenda. The more the nation sees their cause as fruitless the more they escalate.

Just a shame.

I'd say it was all a chemical imbalance due to the lack of protein.

Amen to that Mark!  I fully agree with that one.  Did you kill that ole boy that you have been chasing yet?  I am really enjoying your daily post on hunting him.  Keep at it and keep us posted.

I would like to say, any type of extreme action is dangerous and down right selfish. It's great to have strong feelings on what you believe, but to go to extreme levels to get "ones" word out doesn't make "one" right. Everyone has there own opinion. I don't agree with the far left or far right. I think they both go overboard. Just my opinion. Too bad this happened.
