Team #4...Turkeys on a Plane

The general page for the annual turkey hunting contest. Tons of fun even if you're not on a team.

We kick off here is MS tommorow morning. Weather is going to be beautiful here, and the temp will warm up into the mid 70's by afternoon. I hope they are going to be vocal tomorrow. Usually they do not get wound up gobbling where I hunt until about April.

I will post results Saturday night of the hunt.
I promise to bring it!

Report: No kill
Yesterday was beautiful and temperature was perfect; which leaves me wondering why nothing was going on. I did not hear the first gobble, and I did not even hear the first gun shot. There is a Doctor that has land close by to where I hunt and usually you will hear a gun on opening day-nothing. So, as the Martian on BugsBunny would say "Back to the drawing board". The land that is next by has beautiful food plots. Usually they will move over to my side when it comes time to nest. I hope things get better.
I will be going back in another week and I have another spot I am going to try.
