Rainy days!

I'm looking to go scouting the temperature came up into the 70s the past couple weeks up until about a week ago.Then last week brought seven inches of rain in my county.it stopped raining finally on Wednesday but the temperatures are closer to fifty now.My question I guess would be is it even worth it for me to go scouting this weekend or should I let the temps get warmer again for another week r so?Are turkeys really moving much in the cold driving rainK

Turkeys need to eat and unless you are in snow covered ground like I am (3-4 + feet) they will most likely be out looking for food. Even if you don't see the birds look for signs of them and just have a good time learning the country and being outdoors.

I say go. A lot of your usual scouting signs (tracks, scat, dusting spots, etc.) might be washed away, but it's better than sitting at home. Just wear boots!

It's been clear and sunny for two days now just a little cool if nothing else probably be able.to spot fresh tracks a bit easier with the softer ground.I'm there dudes!

Went out scouting today temp was seventy degrees only found a few tracks but still was good to be back in the turkey woods.Mark you will never guess what I forgot to bring with me lol my binoculars.
