Nice pics thundrchicken, I'm anxiously awaiting the day Vic gets his first bird.  I have been admiring you turkey doggers for a long time.

 Glad WI finally saw the light and legalized dogs permanently. A shout out of thanks to Jon Fries at www.turkeydog.org for all his relentless work here in WI.
Now let's hope more WI turkey hunters take up the sport.

I do go to Wis in the fall, but Pine is a grouse dog. Sorry, didn't mean to mislead you.

By the looks of it Treerooster, Pine just might have an interest in turkeys too.

Charlie, I agree Jon has done alot for turkeydoggin in general not just in WI. I'm sure you and Vic will have your day soon enough.Good Luck and keep us up dated on Vic's progress.

Vic is doing very well with his preliminary instructions showing great promise.  When he goes outside he digs in the snow and finds turkey feathers apparently one of his favorite sports.[:D]
Imagine that charlie's yard has turkey feathers scattered about. [:)]
