Turkey Hunting in Relation to Faith

As a Christian and a minister, my heart has had a natural gravitation to the love of turkey hunting.  I have only been hunting turkeys for 3 years now and I can tell you they present more of a challenge than any other animal that I have pursued.

There are some stark similarities between hunting and faith. One of which seems to be touched upon by many in the forums is the fact that we learn from our mistakes.  Making a mistake is not a failure, refusing to learn from that mistake is a failure.  One friend of mine stated to me once "success is getting up one more time than you have fallen down".
We can relate that not only to the sport of turkey hunting, but to life in general.

So, my fellow turkey friends, remember to never give up on those bad birds, and to never give up in our walks in life.  Enjoy the little things like friends, family, and faith that add so much to our lives.

I don't think that there would be a problem with going with your faith and hunting something. For most people, it is an alternative to go with things that would bring food to the table so I guess there should be no concern as to what is bound to happen that way.

Still one of the better things and more acceptable concepts that people have just not gotten well to.

I am starting a turkey hunting minitry for this spring.
I have 4 guys so far and we are planning on going to the Black Hills in Wyoming... we're from Cheyenne.
A bunch of guys in the word, looking for turkeys.
