Il. birds

Filled a hens head with lead in late oct.and stuck my second Il. fall hen over the weekend.I went to a spot that didn't have any deer hunters,no easy task in IL on public land,set out my DSD hen and started calling.Wasn't there a half hour and got a responce.A pair of hens came in and hung out with the decoy until my arrow put a big hole in one at about 12 ft.She did the coolest hurt dance,a one legged hop in a circle ending up back at the decoy and died.The blood splatter on the DSD looked like a crime scene.Now I can head West to NE. and KS. to do a littl fall turkey hunting there with my bow.As always web site won't let me post pics.
