I was out to the farm today, and took Erik's call along to run it some and try a few different strikers on it. I ran a hickory, dymondwood, alowood, bocote, purpleheart on it. When I ran a series of calls with the purpleheart the birds lit up, they were talking up a storm back at me calling. It sounded like a good size flock because I was hearing all types of turkey talk, but there were a couple of deep raspy yelpers talking back. So I guess I can say this one is proof tested [;)].

I caught up with Erik yesterday and gave him the call. After running it a few times, he grinned real wide & came over and gave me a big ol' pat on the back. You'd have thought I gave him a thousand dollars. He understands how good it sounds and was already telling me which call that one was going to replace in his vest.

Thanks again Scott for producing such a fine call. I'll be ordering another from you soon.

I can tell you they sound great Scott just made one up for me and it is a good call.
