Having a little fun with one of my Gibsons. I decited to do a little wood burning the old fashion way. Built a kingsford fire and used a couple finishing nails and pliers and a little ice to do the burning. I didn't think it was going to work to well, but I think it came out good? Kind of cool doing things the way it was done back when they first made these callers. It took a lot longer than with a heat controled unit, but it was interesting. The call is made of Coffee and Poplar and still needs a finish on it.
As you might expect I admire your energy and commitment to the craft and doing it the 'old way' Once again another fine caller from your hands. We are all fortunate to have your skills and dedication spread amongst our flock.
