Late Morning

I've always stayed out until quitting time, and last Friday proved to be a good idea. Struck this guy @ 10AM, and pulled the trigger @ 11:24 AM - 19 lbs - 9 1/2" beard - 7/8" spurs.
 
Stay after them, I believe it's only going to get better as the season goes on. Still lots of hens not sitting in my area.

Great job on a fine gobbler.  I agree you can't get them if your back in the cabin before noon.
