Could'nt close the deal either.   hr nd Had a nice gob and jake come running into my decoy, unfortunately I was caught off guard and they got nervous and quickly figured something was up.  I have week B in another zone so I'll give that a shot

Yesterday was Saturday only permit day, which is the only days I can hunt, saw one bear, and heard at least 6 different gobblers, we talked to each other, but they never did come in, by 7am all was quiet. Well until next week

After an uneventful a week I was looking forward to B week. Went out this morning bright an early  zero gobbles and pouring!! Around 7:30 two birds start gone crazy and i was in the middle. A gobbler came in strutting! It was a chip shot  Im mad that I didnt have my bow!! 20 lbs 2 ounces 9 inch beard and 1 inch hooks. Cant wait til C week!!!

Awesome...i decided to forgo the rain this morning, but maybe that was a mistake?  Well I'll be out tomorrow and hoping to take one down in B week.  Congrats again Buckeye, and good luck to all going out this week. Post some pics when ya get a chance!
