New Hunter-First Turkeys

Postby Sit Still... » April 28th, 2010, 9:31 am

A new member, a first time turkey hunter, and my first Gobblers! I laid out the whole long tale in "First Turkeys"!

Thanks Scott!
What has the season been like in the cold north country? Are you even open for business yet? I grew up in Crow Wing County, MN and I know it can still be pretty cold in the mornings there so I don't envy your pre dawn set up. Although we had terrible weather where I hunted (8000ft) this spring as well.

So far it's been good Steve, I've only been out twice, but talked 2 birds to the barrel, one for myself and one for a young hunter.
