Took my wife hunting this morning. The wind was blowing at least 30 before daylight making it very hard to hear them. We finally heard a faint gobble towards a wide pipeline that runs through the property. After getting to the edge of the pipeline and an open field we set up in some brush at the intersection. I made one cluck on the call and heard a gobble within five seconds. The next thing I know the bird is running down the pipeline toward us. When it got within shooting range I called softly and he stopped at around 30 yards. She made a great shot and I'm pretty sure there is another turkey addict in the making.
