A Custom Call

This is a box call made for myself as a gift, from my freind Fargohunt. He gave it to me when he came for a visit this past weekend. Yes, we were able to hunt and share a little of ourselves with each other, and I had a good time. No tagged birds though.
The paddle is of Paduak with Curly Maple Accents and the box has a Sumac base, Cherry rails with Curly Maple end blocks. This is not a glue-up, but a well done one peice box. The joinery is exquisite. The gobbling and flying birds on the sides are not laser engraving but Fargos' own artwork freehanded with a wood burner. I am very appreciative. Thanks again Scott !
