youth hunt ends with a BANG!

Here's a pic of my youngest boy's final youth hunt oppurtunity. 24.5 lbs, 7 1/2 " beard, 1 " spurs. We called him in right off the roost and were done @ 6:20 a.m. Just like the tv shows.

Congrats! What a good way to start the season. Must of been pretty far up north if there was still snow on the ground.

actually we hunt in oconto county by lena.....we just took the picture in an area that is facing north and blocked by a hill....i thought it would make a nice picture with the snow.

lena! thats pretty close to where i hunt. i hunt in chase, just west of sobieski and northeast of pulaski

I know the area well.( south chase bar for fish fries on fri) I heard you're out of kids for the youth hunt.Ive started grooming nephews and nieces or you could hook up with an organizations like the lena swamp archery club and take kids out that have no one to show them the ropes

Thats the biggest bird anyone in my family has ever gotten.I didn't lift it till we were back @ the truck and knew I had to go buy a scale.
