Best way to resize pictures

Postby dewey » April 13th, 2009, 5:00 am

I found this link on a different forum and it is really easy to resize your photos.

http://www.obviousidea.com/windows-software/light-image-resizer/

You will have to download the software and then make sure to resize a copy of your photo.  The Photo under my name is 145x145.

Thanks Dewey, I'll check it out.

Used to be this software would not upload a file that was too large but they must have removed the filter. Now it's just the opposite, everything posts the size of a billboard.

Why is it that everything looks fine until I hit OK then I find about 20 spelling and grammatical errors[:@].  Any ways I have noticed that an embedded picture of 800x800 is about the perfect size for this website.  The picture I have embedded below is 800x800 for reference.

Dewey, Thanks again. I downloaded the resizer and it works like a charm.

I actually like about 600 x 400 sizing so you don't have to cursor back and forth to read the text in a post and it doesn't widen the post column.

JB

I took this pic in my backyard a couple days ago, this is 600 x 450-

I have noticed that we have a lot of new meembers and some folks are having problems with the photo limits so I thought I would bump this to the top again.

The photo I uploaded is 800 x 800.  It may appear larger or smaller on your screen depending on your own personal computer screen settings.
